Waiting for a phone call...

It has been a week since I went for yet another interview. I have seriously lost track of the interviews I've been to. Nobody tells you that it becomes harder to get a job when you've been out of work for a while raising children. Although maybe my Mum did some years back, but then when do we ever listen until it affects us. This is 'the one' I wanted, the pay isn't great but its the way I see my life headed. My passion. Why do Employers make you wait so long to tell you whether they are going to employ you or not? Is it to make you eternally grateful to them for giving you a chance. If that's the case, then I will be, I promise. I'll never take a day off ever, ever, ever. Okay so I'm kinda thinking that maybe I haven't got the job, after all it has been a week. Do I phone them? Or does that make me look desperate?

It is rather rude though, when they don't tell you. Even if its just a quick email:

Dear Rachel,

Sorry you were unsuccessful this time.

Good Luck in your search.

Employer

I mean how long would that take out of their day? ....... Exactly.
